The feedback thread is where players post small UX and balance notes that don’t quite rise to bug reports. If the game has been feeling off in one specific way, this is where it usually gets a fix in a later patch.
What the dev actually wrote
The opening post says it straight: “Thank you so much for playing Fatal Claw. Our development team wants to create an even more enjoyable game together with you.” It then routes you to post in the dedicated Q&A forum, the feedback forum, and the bug forum — three separate buckets, three different post types.
The thread isn’t a chat. It’s a routing hub.
The three buckets (and what goes where)
So your post doesn’t get bounced:
- Q&A forum — for “how do I get past X” / “which ability unlocks Y” / “I’m stuck.” Silver’s help hub thread is fine for personal progress help, the Q&A forum is the official venue.
- Feedback forum (the thread above) — for opinions on the game, balance thoughts, what you want more of, what you want less of. Stuff like “blink puzzles feel forced” belongs here.
- Bug Report forum — reproducible problems: crashes, hitbox glitches, softlocks. Not “the boss feels unfair.”
NDEV’s pinned reminder is simple: keep one topic per thread. Don’t merge questions into a megathread. Don’t drop bug reports in the feedback forum — they get lost.
What players are actually saying (top 3 visible)
From the public replies, the recurring feedback isn’t “more content” or “more bug fixes.” It’s:
- Difficulty curve is uneven. Hard bosses get gated behind mid-tier content, then the next region opens up and feels like a walk. Players want the post-Yamator progression to ease you back in.
- Backtracking is unclear. If you pick up Yamator’s wings and don’t know you should swing back to Aphoti Marsh, you can wander into Black Mire underpowered.
- Boss readability — specific complaints about Kurtz (Black Mire), Irbes (Aphoti), and a few “I just can’t read the telegraphs on this one.” Wiki’s boss guides cover this from the design side, the feedback thread covers it from the player side.
None of this is bad news about the game. It’s pretty normal for an EA Metroidvania. The reason it matters is that NDEV is asking, and they tend to ship within the patch cycle they ask for.
Why a wiki page on this
The wiki is small. There’s no dedicated “patch roadmap” page yet. This entry exists so that:
- New players know the dev is listening.
- Players writing feedback know where it goes.
- People searching the wiki for “balance” / “NDEV” / “when is the next patch” land on something real.
